Rotary drum dryer is the device that is used to heat and dry the materials. Rotary drying machine is generally applicable to granular materials and it can be also used for the drying of some part of sticky pasty materials or the materials with high water content. Rotary dryers are commonly used to dry:
Chemical industry: ammonium sulfate, sodium sulphide, ammophos, ammonium nitrate, carbamide, oxalic acid, potassium dichromate, PVC, nitrophosphate fertilizer, calcium magnesium phosphate, compound fertilizer
Minerals: Bentonite, Titanium concentrate, coal, manganese ore, pyrite, limestone, peat.
Others: Iron powder, flat soybean, garbage abrasive, match sticks, wood chips, vinasse, sand, slag, slime, clay, bauxite, barite, limestone, wood chips, clay, chicken manure, and so on.
The sleeve sets structure that rotary dryer adopts can shorten the length of the drying machine doubly. The significant reduction of the radiating surface results in that the heat consumption decreases, while the double heat exchange surface greatly improves the thermal efficiency. As for the materials that can not touch smoke, the multi-drums dryer machine provides inner smoke pipe and the annular pipe in the inner and outer cylinders respectively. Each smoke pipe connects with the flue and the same energy-efficiency will be obtained.

Rotary dryer mainly consists of revolution body, raise material board, transmission device, supportive device and sealing ring, etc.
The heat sources of the drier is from the combustion chamber, and is adopts down-flow heating methods. When the materials enter into the body from the feeding device, it will be pushed back by the spire raising board. As the drier is in an inclined position, the materials will be down to the lower end under the influence of gravity and rotation, but the raising board will be threw to the upper end for scattering. This procession makes the material well-distributed in the body, and then ensure the heat exchange with the heat wind. After repeated cycle with this procession, the moisture content will be dried.

Adopt downstream drying method, the hot air with wet materials enter into the dryer by the same side, can use the high temperature air to achieve very high evaporation strength, the exist temperature of dryer is low, the thermal efficiency is high.
According to different materials' properties change operation parameters, make the material in the dryer cylinder body can form a stable all broken fabric curtain, qualitative heat is more fully.
New feeding and discharging device eliminate the feeding jams, discontinuous, uneven and returning charge etc. Phenomenon, reduce the load of dust removal system.
